Ingredients
- Cucumbers - 500 g
- Tomato paste - 300 g
- Bell pepper - 500 g
- Carrots - 300 g
- Onion - 300 g
- Vegetable oil - 80 ml
- Vinegar - 60 ml
- Bay leaf - 2 pieces
- Black Pepper - 5 peas
- Sugar - 100 g
- Salt - 60 g
- Water - 1 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop cucumbers, peeled onions and bell peppers. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
Mix water with tomato paste, butter, sugar and salt. Boil for 15 minutes over low heat.
Add vegetables, spices and cook for another 15-20 minutes.
Pour in the vinegar, simmer for another 1 minute and remove from the heat.
Put the lecho in jars, roll it up and leave it warm for a day.
