Don't know what you can do with lemongrass? Of course, first of all – jam! Such a billet will definitely not leave anyone indifferent. And how can you resist here, because many people have probably never tried it yet. Then I'll tell you how to cook it properly.

Ingredients

  • Lemongrass (berries) – 1 kg
  • Sugar - 1.5 kg
  • Water - 100 ml

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Fill the lemongrass with cold water for 10 minutes, rinse, tear off the twigs and dry.

Add sugar and hot water, mix, cover the workpiece and leave for a day.

Bring the mass to a boil, remove from heat and allow to cool completely.

Boil the jam again, boil for 10 minutes on low heat, stirring, and roll it into sterile jars.
