Who can resist a favorite jar of canned corn? What if I tell you that you can make it yourself? There is nothing complicated about this, especially in summer at the height of the season, when the heads cost literally pennies.
Ingredients
- Corn - 15 pieces
- Water - 1 l
- Salt - 1 tbsp.l .
- Sugar - 2 tbsp.l .
- Vinegar - 2 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the corn cobs, pour hot water and boil for 3 minutes after boiling.
Put the cobs in a colander and put them under running cold water so that they cool down.
With a sharp knife, carefully cut the grains and place them tightly in jars. I advise you to take small containers – to eat it at a time.
Pour boiling water over the corn, leave it under the lid for 15 minutes, drain this water and boil it again.
Pour the corn again, leave it for 10 minutes again, and drain the water again – now completely.
Boil 1 liter of water, add sugar, salt and vinegar.
Pour boiling marinade over the corn and roll up the jars.
