I want to share my favorite recipe for canned cauliflower with carrots, which I cook every winter. This is a very tasty and healthy salad that can be used as an independent dish or added to various porridges and soups. Fresh and high-quality vegetables that give a rich and bright taste.
Ingredients
- Cauliflower - 1-2 head
- Carrots - 2 pieces
- Allspice - 1 tsp.
- Chili pepper - 1 piece
- Garlic - 4 clove
- Bay leaf - 2 pieces
- Water - 1 l
- Salt - 2 art.l.
- Sugar - 2 tbsp.l.
- Vinegar - 2 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Disassemble the cauliflower into inflorescences and boil for 5 minutes in boiling water.
Put cabbage, chopped carrots, garlic, chili and spices in sterile jars.
Pour boiling water and leave for 20 minutes under the lids.
Drain this water and boil it again with sugar, salt and vinegar.
Pour back and roll up the vegetables for the winter.
