Classic Georgian plum sauce is incredibly delicious and versatile. It is especially good with meat in any form. And if you cook it yourself – it's a pleasure at all! I tell you how to do it correctly and how to stock up on it for the winter.

Ingredients

  • Plums - 1 kg
  • Parsley - 1 bundle
  • Garlic - 4 cloves
  • Salt - 1 tsp.
  • Sugar - 1 tsp.
  • Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Pour boiling water over the plums and boil for 5 minutes.

Drain the water and rub them through a sieve.

Add chopped garlic, parsley, sugar, salt and spices. If necessary, a little water.

Boil the plum puree for half an hour on low heat and roll it into sterile jars.
