Thick pear jam is perfect for any sweet baking. It's not difficult to cook it: it will take a little of your time, a meat grinder and a good mood! You can serve jam as an independent delicacy for tea, just spread on bread.
Ingredients
- Pear (net weight) – 500 g
- Sugar - 400 g
- Water - 50 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the pears, peel and core, cut into cubes, then pass through a meat grinder.
Add sugar and water to the pear mass. Stir and leave for 10-15 minutes to allow the sugar to dissolve a little.
Transfer the workpiece to a cooking pot, bring to a boil and boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for an hour.
Place the finished hot jam in a pre-sterilized jar, seal tightly, turn upside down, wrap and cool. After cooling, store the workpiece in a cool, dark place.
