During the harvesting season for the winter, every housewife is in a hurry to store up more preserves. The lion's share of them is usually made up of all kinds of jams. My family loves apricot jam with walnuts. I cook it according to this recipe.

Peel the apricots from the seeds, rinse and put them on a paper towel to dry.

Cut each half of apricots in half lengthwise and put in a large saucepan.

Add sugar, cover and set aside for 1 hour.

Dry the walnuts in a dry frying pan, remove the husks.

Put the pot with apricots on a slow fire and boil for half an hour after boiling.

Add nuts, citric acid, mix gently and cook for another 10 minutes.

Arrange the jam in sterile jars, cover with lids and wrap with a warm blanket. After two days, move the jars to a cool place.
