If you like cranberries, I suggest you stock them for the winter. And not in the form of sweet jam, but in the form of such a refreshing and healthy compote. You can serve it cold or warm it up with spices on the frostiest days.

Ingredients

  • Cranberries - 1 kg
  • Sugar - 2 glasses
  • Lemon juice - 1 tbsp.l .
  • Water - 4 l

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash the berry and put it in sterile jars.

Cover with sugar, pour boiling water and leave to cool under the lid for 30-40 minutes.

Drain the syrup and boil again. Add lemon juice.

Pour the cranberries again and roll up the compote for the winter.
