Winter should not mean saying goodbye to healthy vegetables! Pickled vegetables are the perfect solution to preserve their nutrients and add brightness to your table. For example, here is a whole beetroot in jars. It is also very convenient, because it can be used in any way.
Ingredients
- Beetroot - 500 g
- Water - 1 l
- A mixture of peppers with peas - 1 tsp.
- Vinegar - 0.5 glasses
- Sugar - 20 g
- Salt - 15 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Boil or bake the beets until tender.
Peel and put it in clean, dry jars.
Boil water with sugar, salt, pepper and vinegar.
Fill the beetroot with marinade and sterilize the jars for another 15 minutes.
Roll them up for the winter.
