Many have heard of rose petal jam. But not everyone has tried it. And even fewer people tried to cook it themselves. And in vain, because in fact it is very simple! A wonderful recipe for owners of their own garden in the country.
Ingredients
- Rose Petals - 400 g
- Sugar - 1 kg
- Water - 1 glass
- Citric acid - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Soak the petals for 15 minutes, rinse thoroughly and dry.
Mix them with half the sugar and leave overnight.
Add water and the remaining sugar, bring the mass to a boil and boil for 5 minutes on low heat.
Leave the jam for 2 hours and then boil for another 5 minutes. And so 1-2 more times.
Add citric acid and spices for the last time if desired, boil the jam for about 25 minutes and roll it into sterile jars.
