Wash and peel the vegetables. Cucumbers, parsley and onions cut into small cubes, grate carrots on a coarse grater, chop garlic. Combine the vegetables in one bowl, add salt, sugar and bay leaf.

Put the vegetable mixture on the fire, bring to a boil and boil over low heat for 20 minutes. If necessary, add water (50-100 ml).

Add vinegar and boil for another 1 minute.
