There is nowhere to place a pickle barrel in the apartment, so it is much more convenient to cook pickled apples in jars. To do this, you will need small fruits and a container with a wide neck. In extreme cases, apples can be cut in half.

Ingredients

  • Apples (small) – 1 kg
  • Bay leaf - 2 pieces
  • Allspice - 3 peas
  • Black Pepper - 4 peas
  • Carnation - 2 bud
  • Vinegar - 25 ml
  • Sugar - 1 art.l.
  • Salt - 5 g
  • Water (filtered) – 1 l

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Put spices and apples in sterilized jars.

Pour in boiling water and leave for 30 minutes under the lids.

Drain the water into a saucepan, add sugar, salt and boil for a couple of minutes.

Pour vinegar and boiling marinade into jars. Roll it up, turn it upside down and wrap it with a thick towel.
