The most popular red currant jam is the jelly that our mothers and grandmothers cooked. But this time we will go the other way, and try to make jam with whole berries. Of course, they will still boil a little, but it will be very tasty!
Ingredients
- Red Currant - 1 kg
- Sugar - 800 g
- Water - 150 ml
- Citric acid - 0.5 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Go through the red currant, remove the twigs, rinse it and cover it with sugar.
Leave the berries for half an hour, pour in water, bring to a boil and boil for 10-15 minutes on low heat.
