Specially for everyone who is not afraid to experiment in the kitchen – this unusual kvass recipe. Why unusual? Yes, because it is prepared from celandine. And as a basis – water and sour cream. It even sounds strange, doesn't it? I'm telling you!
Ingredients
- Water - 3 l
- Sugar - 150 g
- Sour cream - 1 tbsp.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Pour 0.5 cups of dried celandine into a gauze bag, add a small stone for the cargo and send everything to the jar.
Add sugar, sour cream and water, and mix everything.
Close the jar of marday and leave the kvass to ferment for 2 weeks.
Check it every time.
Pour a liter and put it in the refrigerator.
Add another 0.3 cups of sugar and a liter of water to the jar. Leave the kvass to ferment for another 3-4 days.
Strain the remaining kvass and put it in the refrigerator too.
