Pickled quince for winter without sterilization

Not only vegetables or mushrooms can be pickled for the winter. And this pickled quince is the best proof of that. Moreover, I propose to save time and cook it without sterilization. The recipe is so simple that everyone can handle it.
Ingredients
- Quince - 500 g
- Star anise - 1 asterisk
- Carnation - 3 bud
- Sugar - 100 g
- Mint (dried) – 0.5 tsp.
- Allspice - 3 peas
- Citric acid - 0.25 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Pour boiling water over the quince, peel and cut into slices.
Boil it in water for about 10 minutes until soft.
Put the quince in a clean jar.
Boil 150 ml of water with sugar and spices.
Pour the quince, add citric acid and roll up the jar.
