Today I want to reveal the secret of making tomato juice for the winter using a blender. This recipe is useful if there is no juicer among your kitchen utensils. The juice is prepared simply and quickly, but it turns out to be fragrant, useful and multifunctional.
Ingredients
- Tomatoes - 3 kg
- Spices and seasonings - to taste
- Sugar - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the tomatoes, make a cross-shaped incision on each, place the fruits in boiling water for 1-2 minutes, then rinse with cold water. Peel the tomatoes.
Cut the tomatoes into large pieces.
Place the prepared tomatoes in the bowl of a blender and grind until smooth.
Rub the tomato mass through a fine sieve.
Place the resulting tomato juice in a cooking pot, bring to a boil over low heat, add salt, sugar and spices (to taste) if desired. Boil the juice, stirring occasionally and removing the foam, 5-10 minutes.
Pour boiling tomato juice into pre-sterilized jars and immediately roll up. Turn the juice cans upside down, wrap them up and leave them to cool completely. Store the tomato juice in a cool, dark place.
