At first glance, it may seem, why do we need such a specific blank at all? In reality, pickled grated boiled beets perfectly go into borscht, other soups, stews and salads. Or you can add some herbs and butter, and serve it as an independent snack.

Ingredients

  • Beetroot - 1 kg
  • Water - 1 l
  • Vinegar - 1 tbsp.l .
  • Salt - 2 tbsp.l.
  • Sugar - 3 art.l.
  • Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Boil the beets until tender and grate.

Put it in clean sterilized jars.

Boil water with sugar, salt and spices to taste.

Boil the marinade for a couple of minutes, pour in the vinegar and pour over the beets.

Roll up the blanks for the winter.
