Catch my favorite winter recipe! It is easy to prepare and is good as a side dish for any dish, and by itself. I use only fresh vegetables, and the spicy marinade gives the dish a sharpness and unique taste. Cucumber salad with onions and carrots in Korean is always a success on any table.
Ingredients
- Cucumbers - 1 kg
- Carrots - 1 kg
- Onion - 500 g
- Apple cider vinegar - 100 ml
- Vegetable oil - 100 ml
- Salt - 1 tbsp.l.
- Sugar - 2 art.l.
- Spices and seasonings (Korean) – 2 art.l.
- Chili pepper - 1 piece
- Garlic - 1 head
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut onions, carrots and cucumbers into strips, ribbons or thin slices.
Chop the garlic and chilli. Mix together all the ingredients for the salad.
Leave to infuse for about 2 hours and place tightly in jars together with the juice that has stood out.
Sterilize the jars in boiling water for 20 minutes and roll them up for the winter.
