Often, but completely undeservedly, white currants are ignored. It is really less common than other species, but if you are lucky enough to harvest or buy a couple of kilograms of curiosities, this is a great reason to prepare several jars of jam–five minutes.
Ingredients
- White currant - 1 kg
- Sugar - 800 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Tear the currant from the twigs and cover with sugar.
Leave overnight or at least for a couple of hours.
Bring the jam to a boil and boil for 5 minutes.
