Apple compote is one of the most popular canned drinks for winter. To make the compote more saturated, I recommend choosing apples of red dense varieties. If desired, you can add spices, citrus fruits, any berries or other fruits.

Ingredients

  • Apples - 15 pcs.
  • Sugar - 500 g
  • Water - 3 l

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash the apples, peel from the cores and cut into slices.

Boil water, add sugar. Boil the syrup until the sugar is completely dissolved.

Put the apple slices in the boiling syrup, boil together for another 2-3 minutes.

Using a slotted spoon, remove the apples from the syrup and put them in a pre-sterilized jar.

Bring the syrup to a boil again.

Pour boiling syrup into a jar with apples to the top. Roll up the jar, turn it upside down, wrap it up and leave it to cool completely. Store the cooled compote in a cool dark place.
