Dishes will become even tastier if served with blackcurrant sauce. Do not rush to run to the store, just read this recipe and you will easily prepare such a seasoning yourself. Moreover, it can be closed in jars, and it will be perfectly stored until the next harvest.

Ingredients

  • Black Currant - 1 kg
  • Vinegar - 2 art.l.
  • Sugar - 120 g
  • Salt - 0,5 tsp.
  • Water - 150 ml

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Peel the black currants and put them in a saucepan with water.

Boil for 15 minutes and puree with an immersion blender until smooth.

Rub the mass through a sieve to get rid of the peel and seeds.

Add sugar, salt and simmer for 20 minutes over low heat.

Pour in the vinegar, mix and close in the prepared jars.
