Everything is clear with compotes and jam. And today I propose to prepare an original cornel syrup for the winter, so that you can enjoy it at any time of the year. For its preparation, dogwood, sugar and water are needed, and nothing else is superfluous. The finished syrup can be poured into bottles and stored in a cool place.

Ingredients

  • Dogwood - 1 kg
  • Sugar - 1.5 kg
  • Water - 300 ml

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Boil water with sugar and boil until dissolved.

Put the cornel in the syrup and boil for 5 minutes.

Remove from the heat and allow the workpiece to cool. Boil again for about 3 minutes.

Repeat the previous step.

Pour the syrup into sterile jars with or without berries.
