Everything is good in yellow cherry plum jam – it is thick, bright, delicious, moderately sweet and not at all cloying, with a slight sourness. But at the same time, there is one problem – these are cherry plum seeds, which are not so easy to get rid of. I'm telling you how to solve this issue.
Ingredients
- Cherry Plum (yellow) – 1.5 kg
- Water - 200 ml
- Sugar - 1 kg
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Fill the cherry plum with water and boil for 15-20 minutes until soft.
Rub it through a sieve and add sugar to the puree.
Bring it to a boil and cook for 45 minutes on low heat.
Add spices to the jam if desired.
