Amber jam got its romantic name primarily for its very bright and beautiful shade. You can cook it from different fruits and even from some vegetables, but this time I suggest stopping at pear slices.
Ingredients
- Pear - 1 kg
- Sugar - 1 kg
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Remove the middle of the pears and cut them into slices 3-4 mm thick.
Cover the slices with sugar and leave for a couple of hours.
Put on minimum heat. Add spices as desired.
Bring the jam to a boil and cook on low heat for 40 minutes, removing the foam.
Put it in sterilized jars and roll it up.
