For the winter, most of all I want to preserve the taste and benefits of fresh fruit. Soaked apples with honey are the perfect way to enjoy their aroma and beneficial properties all season long. And you can serve them as you like – as a dessert, an appetizer or even part of a side dish.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Sort the apples and put them in sterilized jars.
Mix room temperature water, salt, sugar and honey until dissolved.
Pour the apples, and pour the remaining filling into a jar and put it in the refrigerator.
Cover the jars with lids and leave for 5 days at room temperature.
Top up the remaining filling, close the jars with nylon lids and put them in a cold place for storage.
