Today I want to share with you a simple recipe for natural homemade pumpkin juice for the winter, which we will prepare without using a juicer. A healthy drink turns out to be thick and concentrated, when serving, I recommend diluting it with boiled water.
Ingredients
- Pumpkin (net weight) – 350 g
- Sugar - 70 g
- Citric acid - 3 g
- Water - 100 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel the pumpkin, cut it arbitrarily.
Place the pumpkin pieces in a cooking pot, pour in water, bring to a boil and cook over medium heat for 5-7 minutes.
Mash the softened pumpkin with a blender.
Add sugar and citric acid, mix. Boil for 1-2 minutes.
Pour boiling pumpkin juice into a pre-sterilized jar and roll it up. Store the drink in a cool, dark place.
