Apple-pear jam is a great way to preserve the taste of autumn fruits for a long time. I like how the combination of the sweetness of apples and pears is balanced with the slight sourness of lemon and the aroma of cinnamon. Simple cooking is a nice bonus.
Ingredients
- Apples - 800 g
- Pear - 800 g
- Sugar - 1 kg
- Ground cinnamon - 1 tbsp.l .
- Lemon zest - 1 tsp.
- Lemon juice - 2 tbsp.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel and finely chop the pears and apples.
Cover with sugar and leave for a couple of hours.
Bring to a boil and cook for 40 minutes on low heat.
Add cinnamon, zest and lemon juice.
Boil the jam for another 10 minutes and roll it into sterile jars.
