Speaking of interesting and non-banal preparations, I want to share with you the recipe of my favorite watermelon jam from the pulp. There is one secret here – you will need an orange for it. The jam turns out to be so unusual that at first it's hard to guess what it's made of.
Ingredients
- Watermelon (5-6 kg) – 1 piece
- Orange - 3 pieces
- Sugar - 1 kg
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel the watermelon pulp from the peel and seeds, and cut into cubes.
Wash the oranges, pour boiling water over them and cut them together with the peel in the same way.
Add sugar, bring the jam to a boil and boil for 10 minutes. Let it cool down.
In the same way, boil and cool the jam 3 more times.
For the last time, do not cool, but roll up in sterile jars.
