- Sugar - 3 kg
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Let's start with the preparatory stage. Rinse all the berries, remove the rotten or spoiled ones. Put all the berries in a bowl and cover with sugar. Leave it for 6-8 hours so that the berries give juice.
When the barberry gives enough juice and the sugar dissolves, you can start cooking jam. Put a bowl of berries on medium heat and stir constantly until the jam boils. As soon as it boils, boil the jam for another 15 minutes and you can pour it into jars.
Prepare the jars. Rinse them well and sterilize them. Pour the jam into jars, roll it up and send it to be stored in a dark and cool place.
