Looking for something new? Then catch a sweet and fragrant dessert of prunes, which is easy to prepare even for novice cooks. This jam can be used not only as a dessert, but also as a filling for pies or as a sauce for meat dishes.

Ingredients

  • Prunes - 1 kg
  • Sugar - 600 g
  • Cognac (optional) – 1 tbsp.l .
  • Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Remove the seeds from the prunes and cut them arbitrarily.

Cover with sugar, bring to a boil and cook on low heat for 30-35 minutes.

A couple of minutes before the end, add spices and cognac if desired.

Roll the jam into sterile jars.
