Compotes of apples for the winter have become so popular not just because it is delicious and affordable. And also due to the fact that they are very easy and quick to cook. No need to spend hours in the kitchen, even in the midst of the summer heat.

Ingredients

  • Apples (small) – 500 g
  • Sugar - 1 glass
  • Water - 2.5 l
  • Citric acid - 1 pinch

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash the apples and put them in a sterile jar.

Boil water with sugar and pour over the apples.

Cover with a lid and leave for 15-20 minutes.

Drain the syrup, boil again, add citric acid, pour back and roll up.
