Wetting fruits and vegetables is an easy way to make blanks without acetic acid. Most often, apples are prepared in this way. Today I want to tell you a recipe for soaked prunes. Please note that it will be possible to take a sample no earlier than in a month.

Ingredients

  • Prunes - 1 kg
  • Bay leaf - 2 pieces
  • Allspice - 4 peas
  • Sugar - 200 g
  • Salt - 30 g
  • Water - 1 l

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Rinse the prunes and pour boiling water for 10 minutes.

Drain the water, cool the prunes slightly.

Fill sterilized jars with spices and prunes.

Mix water with sugar and salt, boil for 5 minutes, turn off the heat and put aside for 10-15 minutes.

Pour the slightly cooled marinade into jars with prunes. Close with nylon lids and put in a dark, cool place for 1 month.
