Canned compote is a great way to enjoy the taste of fresh fruit even in winter. And it can also be prepared from almost any ingredients. For example, from a wild pear, which is not particularly edible in fresh raw form.
Ingredients
- Pear (wild) – 400 g
- Water - 2.5 l
- Sugar - 300 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the stems from the pears.
Rinse the jar with soda or scald with boiling water.
Lay out the pears and pour boiling water over them. Leave for 20 minutes under the lid.
Drain this water into a saucepan, boil again and pour for another 20 minutes.
Drain the water again, add sugar to it and boil.
Pour in the pears and roll up the compote.
