Have you ever heard of dry jam? If not, then you definitely need to familiarize yourself with this recipe! This time I propose to cook it from pears. You will need an oven, time and patience – and a wonderful treat is almost ready.
Ingredients
- Pear - 1 kg
- Sugar - 300 g
- Citric acid - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the pears, remove the middle and cut them into slices.
Place them tightly on a baking sheet, skin down.
Mix sugar, citric acid and, if desired, spices.
Sprinkle the pears and put the baking sheet in the oven for half an hour at 200 degrees.
Sprinkle clean parchment with the remaining sugar, put the pears on it and leave them to dry for 2-3 days at room temperature.
Store the dry jam in clean jars in a dry place.
