White plums are very sweet in themselves. They make a great compote, which can be easily prepared for the winter and stored for a long time. From the specified number of fruits, I get three liter or one three-liter jar of delicious compote.
Ingredients
- Plums (white varieties) – 1 kg
- Sugar - 450 g
- Water - 3 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Boil the water in advance. Rinse the plums and dry them slightly.
Put the plums on the bottom of the sterilized jars, pour boiling water over them. Leave for 15 minutes, covered with sterile lids.
After that, drain the liquid from the cans back into the pan, bring to a boil.
Pour sugar into jars with plums, pour boiling broth and immediately roll up. Turn the jars of compote of white plums upside down, wrap them up and leave them to cool completely. Store the workpiece in a cool, dark place.
