Do you like pea soup? And how about preparing a couple of such jars for the winter? It takes a little time and patience, but otherwise it's not difficult at all. And for safety, it is enough to sterilize the jars thoroughly and add vinegar.
Ingredients
- Peas - 200 g
- Bell pepper - 300 g
- Carrots - 200 g
- Onion - 200 g
- Allspice - 9 peas
- Sugar - 3 tbsp.l.
- Salt - 3 tbsp.l.
- Water - 1 l
- Vinegar - 40 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Soak the peas overnight, pour a liter of clean water and boil for 40 minutes on low heat.
Grate the carrots, chop the onion and pepper, and fry everything until soft.
Send the vegetables and all the spices to the peas, and cook for another 15 minutes.
Pour in the vinegar and roll the pea soup into sterile jars.
