If you want to stock up on useful preparations for the winter, you definitely need to cook a compote of blackthorn. No preservatives will be needed for this. They will be perfectly replaced by malic acid, which is more than enough in the turn.

Ingredients

  • Turn - 1 kg
  • Sugar - 350 g
  • Water (cleaned) – 5 l

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Boil water, add blackthorn and sugar.

Boil for 10 minutes and strain into a separate saucepan.

Bring the compote to a boil again, pour it into clean, dry jars and roll it up.
