Delicious and spicy adjika is obtained not only from vegetables and fruits, but also from berries. Especially well suited for this purpose is the tart black-fruited mountain ash with its unique taste. It is best to collect it after the first frosts. Or you can first leave it in the freezer for a couple of hours.
Ingredients
- Chokeberry - 1 kg
- Garlic - 1 head
- Cinnamon - 1 tsp.
- Salt - 2 tbsp.l.
- Ground red pepper - 0.5 tsp.
- Ground black pepper - 0.5 tsp.
- Hop-suneli - 1 tbsp.l.
- Hot red pepper - 2 pieces
- Vinegar - 3 art.l.
- Ground coriander - 1 tsp.
- Sugar - 3 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Pass the blackberries, garlic and pepper through a meat grinder.
Add salt, sugar and all spices.
Pour in the vinegar, put the adjika in sterile jars and store in a cold place.
