It's not for nothing that nature painted these berries in one color. Their taste and aroma combine just perfectly! Do you want to see this for yourself? Cook a compote of red currants and raspberries! I suggest using my favorite recipe.
Ingredients
- Red Currant - 1 kg
- Raspberry - 500 g
- Sugar - 400 g
- Citric acid - 0,5 tsp.
- Water - 5 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash raspberries and red currants under running water.
Put the berries in jars, filling no more than half, and pour boiling water to the top. Cover with lids and leave for 30 minutes.
Drain the water into a saucepan, add sugar, citric acid and boil for 5 minutes.
Pour the boiling syrup into the jars and roll up.
