One of the most unusual combinations among all that I have tried is beetroot and strawberry. It would seem that they have something in common? But in this simple and spectacular salad, they are perfectly combined with each other. You can serve it this way or on a pillow of greens.
Ingredients
- Beetroot (small) – 3 pieces
- Strawberries - 150 g
- Cheese - 200 g
- Balsamic vinegar - 1 tsp.
- Salt - 1 pinch
- Ground black pepper - 1 pinch
- Greenery - 2 twigs
Step-by-step cooking recipe
The longest thing in this recipe is to bake or boil beets, so it's better to do it in advance.
Cut the beets, strawberries and cheese into approximately the same small cubes.
Add finely chopped greens.
Season the salad with salt and pepper, and sprinkle it with balsamic. Mix gently.
