If you like peaches as much as I do, you will definitely like this recipe. Peaches in syrup halves are a universal preservation. Fragrant fruits can be eaten just like that, added to desserts, salads, pastries and many other dishes.

Ingredients

  • Peaches - 2 kg
  • Sugar - 2 kg
  • Citric acid - 0,5 tsp.
  • Water - 1,5 l

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash the peaches, peel, cut in half and remove the seeds.

Place the peach halves in sterilized jars.

Pour boiling water to the top, cover with lids and leave for 15 minutes.

Drain the water into a saucepan, add sugar, citric acid and boil for a couple of minutes.

Pour boiling syrup into jars, roll up with sterile lids and wrap up with a warm blanket.
