I have long given up trying to find delicious juice in stores and now I cook it myself. Recently, I even close tomato juice for the winter. Tomatoes for this it is desirable to buy farm. It is important that they are tasty and with a thin skin.

Ingredients

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Wash the tomatoes thoroughly and dry them with a paper towel. Cut the vegetables into small pieces so that they can be conveniently placed in the juicer. If you come across white or green streaks, cut them out.

Pass the tomatoes through the juicer. If it is not there, use a meat grinder. In this case, you will have to additionally rub the tomato puree through a sieve to get rid of the seeds and peel.

Pour the resulting juice into a saucepan with a thick bottom and cook for 15 minutes after boiling over low heat. Be careful, in the first minutes the juice will give a lot of foam and start to rise. Just follow the process and mix it in time, the foam will settle quickly.

Add sugar, salt and mix well. Carefully try the juice, perhaps you need to add more salt and sugar to your taste. Continue to cook for 10 minutes.

Pour the hot juice into clean, dry jars, close the lids tightly and wrap with a thick towel. After a day, the cooled cans can be transferred to a dark, cool place for storage.
