This recipe will appeal to those who do not like excessive sharpness. Beetroot adjika is prepared with a small amount of hot pepper and garlic, so the degree of its sharpness is equal to the average. If the beetroot is sweet, you can not add sugar.
Ingredients
- Beetroot - 500 g
- Hot red pepper - 1 pod
- Garlic - 100 g
- Vinegar - 2 tbsp.l .
- Hops-suneli - 0,5 tsp.
- Paprika - 0,5 tsp.
- Sugar - 3 art.l.
- Salt - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the hot pepper in half and peel off the seeds.
Mince hot pepper, peeled beets and garlic.
Mix everything in a saucepan with a thick bottom, add sugar, salt and spices. Boil for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Pour in the vinegar, stir and remove from the heat after 2 minutes.
Put the hot adjika in the prepared jars, roll it up, turn it upside down and wrap it with a thick towel.
