Until recently, like many, I had no idea what to cook from green physalis. But one day I got my hands on quite an impressive crop, so I had to experiment. I share the most successful result of this experiment!
Ingredients
- Physalis (green) – 1 kg
- Sugar - 1 kg
- Water - 1 glass
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Pierce the fruits of physalis with a needle, soak it in water for 4 hours and throw it into a colander.
Boil water with sugar, boil the syrup for 10 minutes and add physalis there.
Bring to a boil again and remove from heat. Leave the blank for 4 hours.
Bring the jam to a boil again, then leave for 4 hours and bring it to a boil for the third time.
Roll the hot jam into sterile jars.
