Simple sauerkraut has not surprised anyone for a long time, so I prefer to combine it with something else. It's both tastier and more original, and just more convenient, because you don't need to open several different cans at once. Today I will tell you about sauerkraut in jars with cucumbers.

Chop the cabbage and grate cucumbers and carrots on a coarse grater.
Add salt and sugar, mix and decompose everything into sterile jars, not reaching about 5 cm to the edge.
Pour in water, not reaching 3 cm to the edge.
Leave the blanks at room temperature for 3-5 days and pierce with a wooden skewer every day.
When the cabbage is ready, close the jars and send it for storage in a cold place.
