Zucchini is one of the best bases for cooking a popular preparation called mother–in-law's tongue. An excellent vegetable snack will complement any side dishes and meat dishes. It is good on a festive table and just during a family dinner.
Ingredients
- Zucchini - 1 kg
- Tomatoes - 1 kg
- Bell pepper - 1 piece
- Garlic - 50 g
- Sugar - 100 g
- Salt - 1 tbsp.l.
- Vegetable oil - 70 ml
- Ground red pepper - 1 tsp.
- Vinegar - 70 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop tomatoes, pepper and garlic in a blender.
Add butter, sugar and salt, and boil for 10 minutes.
Add spices and sliced zucchini.
Boil the workpiece for another 10 minutes.
Add vinegar and roll up the mother-in-law's tongue in sterile jars for the winter.
