Peel the apples, cut into quarters and peel the seeds.

Peel tomatoes and cut into small pieces.

Peel and chop the onion.

Put onions, apples and tomatoes through a meat grinder.

Mix everything in a large saucepan, add sugar, salt, spices and simmer for 50 minutes.

Pour in the vinegar, arrange the ketchup in jars and roll up.
