Step-by-step cooking recipe
Bring the water to a boil, add sugar and lemon juice, and cook the syrup until smooth.
Put basil leaves in the syrup and cook for half an hour on low heat.
Strain the syrup and boil for another 5 minutes.
Roll it up in sterile jars.
