Autumn is the season of fragrant pumpkin. It can be used to cook porridges, casseroles, stews and soups. And how delicious pumpkin jam turns out! I advise you to cook it with dried apricots at least once. Believe me, your family will be delighted with such a treat!
Ingredients
- Pumpkin (pulp) – 2 kg
- Dried apricots - 400 g
- Lemon - half
- Sugar - 2 kg
- Water - 200 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Pour boiling water over the dried apricots and put them aside for 10 minutes.
Flip into a colander, cool slightly and chop.
Cut the pumpkin pulp into small pieces.
Put the pumpkin and dried apricots in a saucepan.
Add sugar, water and cook on low heat for 30 minutes.
Puree the mass with an immersion blender.
Squeeze out the juice from half a lemon and pour it into a saucepan with pumpkin mass.
Boil for 2-3 minutes, place in clean, dry jars and roll up.
