Traditionally tkemali is made from plums or cherry plums, but nothing prevents us from experimenting with other fruits. For example, I personally really like apricot tkemali, so I'm happy to share this proven recipe with you.
Ingredients
- Apricots - 500 g
- Apple cider vinegar - 50 ml
- Sugar - 30 g
- Salt - 1 tsp.
- Hop-suneli - 1 tsp.
- Ground coriander - 0.5 tsp.
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Water - 3 tbsp.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Remove the seeds from the apricots. Add water to the halves.
Boil for about 15 minutes until soft and grind with a blender.
Add all the other ingredients to the apricots and boil them for 10 minutes.
